Organic cotton & merino wool
A curated selection of Color Core inspired by the coastline and forests of California's Monterey. Each fiber pack includes Lagoon, Lupine, Tidal & Aloe; that's 4 x ten-yard balls (40 yards total). The hues of this super chunky yarn are spun to be outwardly beautiful in their own right—but with a secret super power. One snip with scissors reveals a color core.
This line brings together organic cotton from the Texas highlands and premium, ethically-sourced merino wool; you are supporting multiple family farms with each purchase. And each ball is spun at our partner mill in Washington State, which is both women-owned and women-run.
With its color core, this collection is perfect for weaving projects that utilize the inner cross section of fiber. Check out this Hello Hydrangea video for Color Core project ideas or her blog for pro tips on weaving with chunky yarn.
