The Oslo Hat is an ultra-cozy classic beanie. The hat features a triple brim and is knit up in stockinette stitch, making it an easy knit and versatile addition to any wardrobe. And we knit it up here in the softest fiber possible, Meelam hand-spun pashmina (aka cashmere).

Level: Beginner

Finished Measurements: According the pattern, the finished measurements should be the following...

  • Gauge of 22-23 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm
  • XS (S) M (L) fits head circumference 18½-19¾ (19¾-21¾) 21¾-23¼ (23¼-24½) inches
  • The pictured balaclava is a size L

Materials:

- Meelam Pashmina (pictured in Hibiscus), find it HERE

- Size XS will require 1x100 gram skein

- Size S through L will require 1x100 gram skein and 1x50 gram skein OR 3 50 gram skeins

- Recommended needles: Circular needles: 3.5 mm [US4] / 16 inches; and if not opting for magic loop technique, double-pointed needles: 3.5 mm [US4] or the size needles necessary to obtain gauge. The pictured hat was knit up using the recommended needle size and the magic loop technique instead of double-pointed needles.
