The cutest cold weather essential knit up in the softest fiber known to humans, Meelam hand-spun pashmina (aka cashmere). The clever combination of hat and collar keeps both neck and head warm, while looking super chic. Balaclava No. 1 is worked top down in a delicate rib pattern.

Level: Intermediate

Finished Measurements: The pictured balaclava is approximately 7 inches wide and 14 inches from the top of the hood to bottom of the neck. This is slightly longer than what is called for in the pattern; adjust for desired length. The gauge is knit up in patterned broken rib stitch using 4 mm needles at 21 sts / 31 rows = 4 x 4 inches.
