The Baby Bear Beanie is an ultra-cozy classic. The hat is knit in stockinette stitch and finished with the cutest little bear ears, making it an easy knit and adorable addition to any wardrobe.  We knit it up here in the softest fiber possible, Cloudy Alpaca by Shangdrok. One skein is all it takes for a small hat.

Level: Advanced Beginner

Technical Details: 

• Gauge of 16 sts x 23 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
• 6 sizes: 0-3 month, 3-12 month, 1-2 yr (toddler), 3-12 yr (child), teen/women, men
• Our sample hat is toddler size (1-2 yr) in color Beach Hibiscus, knit with US size 6 & 7 needles

Materials:

- Shangdrok Cloudy Alpaca (pictured in Beach Hibiscus), find it HERE

- Sizes 0-3 month, 3-12 month and 1-2 yr (toddler) will each require 1x100 gram skein

- Recommended needles: Circular needles: US size 6 & 7 in 16 inch length; and if not opting for magic loop technique, double-pointed needles: US size 7 or the size needles necessary to obtain gauge.
