This perfect beginner hat is kicking off our series of new patterns inspired by local transit lines!  The N Judah light rail runs right in front of the studio, making it the obvious choice for our new hat. If this is your first hat, new skills include knitting in the round and using double pointed needles.  Customize it with options for a folded brim and a pom pom.

Sizes: Small - child (Large - adult)

Materials:

• Small - 1 x 100 gram ball Love Fest Fibers Twin Merino 
• Large - 2 x 100 gram ball Love Fest Fibers Twin Merino
• US Size 13 (9 mm) 16" circular and double pointed needles (or size necessary to achieve gauge)
• Pom Pom Maker (optional)

Gauge: 2.5 stitches per inch in 1 x 1 ribbing
