A minimalist and seamless hand knit piece that highlights the beautiful texture of our beloved Kullu hand-spun yak yarn. The Faro Sweater features a funnel neck, stockinette stitch throughout, and wide body. The sleeves and body length are adjustable, though the original pattern calls for three-quarters sleeves. And there's nothing like the drape of this pattern knit up in Kullu.
Level: Beginner-Intermediate
Sizing: The pictured sweater is a size s/m and was modified to measure 22 inches from the top of the funnel neck to the bottom of the body of the sweater when laid flat; the arms measure 16 inches from the underarm to the wrist and were knit full length instead of ¾ length; the body of the sweater measures 9.5 inches from the underarm to the bottom of the sweater; across the chest measures 20 inches.

Materials
The pattern calls for the following needle sizes*:
Yarn: Kullu hand-spun yak down (pictured in cacao), find it HERE
s/m: calls for 7 skeins (to achieve the recommended 300 yds); the pictured sweater with longer sleeves is made using 8 skeins.
l/xl: calls for 8 skeins (to achieve the recommended 330 yds); depending on length of sleeves and other modifications, opt for 1-2 more skeins; 330 yds
xl/xxl: calls for 8 skeins (to achieve the recommended 360 yds); depending on length of sleeves and other modifications; opt for 3-4 more skeins.
*The pictured sweater sized down needle sizes to achieve gauge and a stiffer funnel neck. However, every knitter’s tension and desired fabric density differ. For that reason, knitters can enjoy playing around with different needle sizes and modifications to achieve the desired fit.
