Materials:
- 3 x 100g of Shangdrok DK Merino in Misty Pinewoods, find it HERE
- 2 x 50g of Shangdrok Superkid Mohair Silk in Eggplant, find it HERE
- Crochet Hook Size: 4.5 mm
- Tapestry needle
Our Modifications:
This is a very customizable pattern. Dina’s sample is sized between medium and large. She cast on 80 rows of ribbing, and the top is 33 rows long. She also added ribbing at the neck for a more polished finish. This left enough yardage for short sleeves following the body pattern.
Dina’s Ribbed Neckline:
Join with 4.5 mm hook at center back of neckline
FSC 5 (or chain 6, SC in second chain and across). Turn.
Ch 1. BLSC in each stitch across. Sl St into two edge stitches of body. Turn. (5)
BLSC in each stitch across, chain 1. Turn.
Repeat rows 2 and 3 around entire neckline. Alternate chaining one at outer edge and slip stitching twice at neck edge.
Sl St both sides of ribbing together. Fasten off.
Dina’s Armholes:
Join with 5.5 mm hook at bottom of armhole space.
1. (RS) Ch 1. HDC around armhole, placing 2 stitches in the side of each DC and one in the side of each HDC. (This will depend on armhole size, most samples were between 45 and 60 stitches.) Join.
2. (WS) Ch 3 (counts as first DC), skip next stitch. *V-stitch in next stitch, skip next 2* across until final 2 stitches. Skip next stitch, DC in last stitch. Turn.
3. Ch 1, HDC around, join.
4. Repeat row 2.
5. Ch 1, HDC around, join.
6. Ch 1. SC around, join. Fasten Off.
